The garden plays a key role in the occupier enjoyment of the site and an improve relationship between the interior of the house and the garden was a high priority.

The proposal aimed to preserve the landscapce nature and preserve as much of the existing planting as possible.

The design included internal French windows to the rear of the ground floor lounge which opens onto an internal balcony in the double height dining space linked to the basement level by a spiral stair. This mean that all of the principle reception rooms now have direct access to the garden.
